Achievement - Do You Have the Belief That You Can Achieve Great Things?
Setting goals and achieving them is one of the most Satisfying feelings that you will ever experience. If the feeling is so wonderful, then why doesn't everyone in the World achieve great things in their lives?

Unfortunately, there are people who simply don't and won't set goals and will therefore achieve very little. Negative thinkers will often settle for going through life without much thought of trying to improve their thoughts.

There are others who genuinely believe that they are not capable of changing their circumstances. They believe that this was the hand that they were dealt, so they just have to get on with it.

I find this incredibly sad. Achievers are people who understand that they have a purpose in life and that we are here to be happy. We are on Earth to learn and to grow and to gain as much experience as we can. We are here to reach our full potential.

Those who think that they cannot achieve great things and make major changes in their lives are denying themselves the right to genuine happiness. Take time to think of what you could achieve in your life to make your circumstances better, and to enable you to enjoy life more.
Make a list, and plan how you will go about achieving your dreams. And then take action.

Believe in yourself and in your abilities. You can achieve whatever you desire if you have the faith that you can do it.

I challenge you to think of something that you can achieve today. It doesn't matter how small it is, but the important thing is that you do it. I can assure you that you will feel good about yourself, and that you will want to achieve more.

Please don't let the days go by with so little to show for your time here each day.

You can learn from other people to make up for your lack of experience in any area of life.

Be open and receptive to the people around you. They have things to teach you.

Take advantage of the people that have made the journey ahead of you.

Try to pick the right role models. Don't look for people that make you feel good or entertain you. Look for people that can help you. Role models are more than people you like and admire. The key is to look for people that will help you to be more successful. You can learn from the mistakes of others.

You can learn different approaches to overcoming challenges. Learning "what not to do" is as important as learning "what to do."

TODAY'S INSPIRATION!! Positive Attitude and Health

How Our Attitudes Affect Our Health

We do several things to protect our health, such as eating right, exercising, dressing warm in cold weather, taking vitamins, practicing good hygiene and avoiding people who have contagious illnesses, such as the flu or colds. After taking all those precautions, many people still jeopardize their health simply by having poor attitudes.

Attitude affects every aspect of our lives - for better or worse - including our overall health. The mind is incredibly powerful. Have you ever heard the expression ‘I think, therefore I am’? Well, that probably means that you exist, because you think - but you should learn to look at it from a different point of view ‘I think I’m well, therefore I am.’

Some people look for things to be wrong with them. Some might call them hypochondriacs, but mostly, they just always expect the worst - even from their own bodies. This mindset can actually cause illness. This has been proven in scientific experiments where people who believe they are ill are given drugs to treat the ‘illness’ that aren’t actually drugs at all - they are basically sugar pills. But the person, believing they were being treated with medication for their illness, recovered, and no longer felt ill.

Alternately, people who really are ill have found that they heal faster when they stay in a positive frame of mind. This positive mindset allows them to follow their doctor’s orders easier, and expect good things to come from the treatment. They look forward to the things they will do once they are well - and in most cases the mind, in its own mysterious way, takes those thoughts and helps the body heal faster.

A positive attitude helps prevent specific health problems as well, such as migraine headaches, stomach ulcers, heart problems, and muscle aches. This is because when a person has a positive attitude, they have considerably reduced stress levels. Stress can cause headaches, stomach ulcers, heart problems, muscle aches, and a variety of other health problems. By reducing stress, you reduce the potential for these health problems.

A positive attitude does not guarantee that you will never have a health problem, it just reduces the possibility, and then it works in your favor to overcome any health problems that you do experience.

Setting Attainable Goals For Your Home Based Business

When starting your own home based business, it is important to establish realistic, attainable goals that will motivate you to perform optimally and keep your business on track for its most critical objectives. Setting goals for your home business is considered by most experts to be one of the most important elements of any business plan. Here are some of the key factors to remember when setting goals for your home business.

1) It is admirable to set goals that seem out of reach because they may cause you to work harder than you thought necessary. However, it is also important to set goals that you can actually achieve on a regular basis. Achieving the goal, however modest the goal may be, leaves an imprint of success in your memory, and will confirm your subconscious belief that you can in fact "do it" when it comes to your business.

2) You can set goals for your home business in different tiers, allowing you to monitor and achieve short-term goals regularly, while tracking your progress to attain broader, long-term goals. By focusing on the shorter-term goals of daily performance, you will be on track to reach you broader, long-term goals.

3) Reward yourself for success. When you reach one of your goals, pause for a moment and reward yourself with a compliment, note or gift that indicates that you have done something positive for your home business. Rewarding yourself for such accomplishments will add positive reinforcement to your work routine, and give you something tangible to enjoy for your efforts.

These goal-setting tips have worked for thousands of home based business owners who wanted additional motivation and direction for their business. One of the best ways to get started setting goals for your business is to simply sit down with a pen and paper, and write out the specific actions you feel need to be taken to make your business more successful. Keep what you have written close to your work area so you won't forget that you are serious about achieving the stated goals. The more often you see your goals in writing, the more likely you are to work hard to achieve them.
